Hanging out in Midway

We spent most of our time in Midway hanging out in the condo watching movies or swimming in the salt water pool! It was the first time in a long time, where I didn't have a bunch of stuff planned during my vacation. We just relaxed, it was nice.

Olympic Park

While we were in Midway, Diane took Alyssa and I up to see the Olympic Park in Park City. It was neat to see what it all looked like in person and without the snow. It's still used all year round for people training.

It was neat to see how they've accomodated it so that the ski jumpers can practice their tricks without the snow. The built a pool below the jumps so that they land in the water. They use air bubbles to cushion their landing so that they don't hit the water as hard.

Family Vacation- Drive to Midway

We spent our family vacation this year in Midway, Utah which is near Park City. The drive up there is lovely and weather was beautiful! I think that my favorite part was the waterfalls that you can see on the side of the road.

Chloe & Clementine

Remember a few months ago, I posted about how my dad and Diane got an adorable new little puppy. Well she's definitely not little anymore! She's as big as their full grown chocolate lab Chloe! Here are some pictures so you can see for yourself!

George Washington

The 5th graders atAlyssa's school did a play about the original 13 colonies and how they became the United States. Alyssa was George Washington. Isn't she adorable? (She thought it was weird that she had to play a man, but she had fun being on stage in front of everyone.)

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day!

We went to the Riverside National Cemetery today with most of Southern California. I've never seen the place so crowded. There were people everywhere!!! It was a good place to go today to remember all those who have fought for our country and the rights we have today.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Dad and Alyssa got all dressed up and went to the Daddy Daughter Activity at the church this week. Dont' the look lovely? They danced and played a game where they had to answer questions about one another and then match each others answers. They had a great time!
