Katrina and the Fish Prince

The spring play this year at Alyssa's school was Katrina and the Fish Prince. It was written and directed by one of the students. It's about a girl in a wheelchair who gets transported under the sea and meets all kinds of creatures and of course a fish prince. Alyssa was a mermaid. Dad, Diane, Megan, and Jon were all able to come down to see the play. And afterwards, we went and got dessert at Coldstone. Yummy!!!

Parade of Homes

While we were in Utah visiting, Diane took Alyssa and I to see a few of the Parade of Homes houses. They are kind of like model homes but they are custom houses and usually have some really cool additions.

Like this craft room, I love all the baskets to keep everything organized and easily accessible.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a gym at home?

I absolutely LOVE this closet! I think having the washer and dryer in the closet is a fabulous idea!

I really liked this outdoor barbeque/kitchen and check out the lovely view!

Happy Birthday Lauren!

We're still in Utah visiting the family for the weekend. Today we got to celebrate Lauren's birthday! She turned 20 this year. I remember when I turned 20, that was a long time ago and lots of things have changed since then. Anyway, back to Lauren, it was to be here to celebrate this year with her. I hope that you had lovely birthday, Lauren. Here are a couple pictures from the day.

Oh Clementine

It was funny when we first got to Hurricane, we called my dad to tell him that we were in town. He asked us to come pick him up because he was walking home from the high school basketball game and that he had a surprise for us. We went over to get him and as we pulled up we noticed that he was carrying purse with a pink blanket hanging out of it. If you know my dad, you know that he is not the type that generally carries a purse (ruffled sheets...yes, purses...no), when we got in the car we realized he had precious cargo, an adorable puppy. My Dad and Diane got a new labrador puppy! Her name is Clementine and she's absolutely adorable! We've had a lot of fun playing with her while we've been in Utah visiting them. Here are some pictures of her.

Too much fun ;o)

I had so much fun making the collages for my dad that I had to make some more.

These are all pictures of Alyssa at Sea World through the years. We've been to Sea World so many times through the years that it was hard to pick a few of my favorites; a lot of great memories have been made there. It makes me happy to look at these pictures.

I also made a collage for Heather of her wedding day.

The St George marathon. I still can't believe my Dad runs 26.2 miles for fun and this year he did it in the rain. Crazy guy!!! :o)

I also made a collage of the many faces of Alyssa. She was having a tough time that day deciding what kind of mood she wanted to be in. The varying expressions really say it all and within a couple minutes she happy won out and we had fun the rest of the day.

Collages

For Christmas this year, I made my some collages of my brothers, sister, and myself for my dad and Grandma. I put in pictures of us from when we were young and then one current picture. It was a lot of fun to go through all the old pictures and put them together. I like how they turned out. I think I'm going to have to make prints for myself as well. Weren't we cute kids?
