Happy Halloween! My dad came stopped by to see Alyssa and I on his way back to Utah today. He thought it would be fun to scare Alyssa and I, so he left rubber spiders and mice all over my apartment. And I do mean ALL over. They were in bathtub, in the kitchen, on my table, in the bookcase. etc. I'm sure that I'll continue to find them over the next few days.

Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular
Last weekend, Alyssa and I went to the Halloween Spooktacular at Sea World. It was fun to see all the kids in their costumes! They were so cute!!! There were even little booths set up throughout the park for the kids to go around and trick or treat! The sealion show even had a Halloween theme makeover. They counted down their favorite scary moments; recreating scenes from Jaws, the Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, and the Thriller music video. It was pretty cool. Here are some pics from the day!

It's My Birthday!
Happy birthday to me!!! I turned 27 today! Wow! I'm old! ;o) My boss gave me the day off work so I hung out at home and relaxed until Alyssa got out of school. We had birthday cake and then when Sara got home from work we went and got dinner from Peony's. They have amazing Chinese food, if you haven't been there before, you need to check them out! It was a fun day. :o)

Finish Line
Mile 16
My dad and Brett ran the St George marathon again this year so we all came up to cheer them on. We met them at mile 16 to say hello and to tell them to keep going, only 10 miles left. To meet them at mile 16 we have to hike a couple miles up hill to get to the course.
Here we are waiting for them.
Doug and Alyssa had fun picking on each other while we waited.
Here's Brett.
Here's Dad.
The hike back to the car.
A few other members of our family are talking about running the marathon with them next year. I'm not going to be one of them, but I have committed to making signs and hiking to mile 16 to cheer them on! :o)
